I drove down...Hey, I was at the Hook on Sunday too. I drove down from San Francisco to pick up a new board from Stretch, whose factory is just a few blocks from 41st. I was in the water for a couple of hours starting at 10:30am.<BR/><BR/>As an OB surfer, I'm used to tough paddle-outs, sparse crowds, and a shifty peak. The Hook was a completely opposite experience on all counts, and yeah, I had a problem catching the set waves among the crowd. I was trying to be ultra-polite because I was the visitor.
